Naruto: The New Age

Chapter 11: Pregnant Kunoichi, Shoku Arekusu and the Akatsuki's New Ally

It was a quiet day in Konoha. The sun was shining, birds flew through the sky and people walked around the rebuilt city. Konoha was once more in the center of peace. The war however was now tearing up the Northern countries and the area around the rain village. It had also spread to the islands surrounding the water nation, and as of right now that is where Naruto and his army were stationed.
But back in the village a certain man entered a restaurant, that never in his wild dreams he would ever enter. As he stepped into the ramen shop a welcome bell went off.

"Konichiwa, and welcome to Ichiraku ramen!" welcomed Teuchi to the man who just entered his place of business. But as soon the chef looked up from his cooking pot, he was shocked beyond all belief. In the middle of the room stood Hyuuga Hiashi with a face that showed he had been through a lot.

"H-Hiash-sama. Wel-welcome."

"…Hello, Teuchi-san." replied the Clan leader uncomfortably.
The pale eyed man just stood there uncomfortably, as if pondering something. The ramen maker and his daughter just started at the great leader as if you was a little crazy.

"So….what can we get you sir?"

"…..Huh?...oh yes…well I ne..need…I need…."

"Yes, Hiashi-sama?"

"……25 orders of miso pork ramen, 15 orders of Uzumaki swirl ramen, 30 plates of ramen curry and finally….sniff….100 bowls of…Naruto ramen." Hiashi said crying tears of utter sadness. The faces of Teuchi and Ayame had grown pale and now they were looking at Hiashi as if he had lost his bloody mind.

"Umm…Hiashi-sama…WHAT'S WITH THE HELL IS WITH THAT ORDER!?!" screamed the fifty year old man to the future grandfather. At this Hiashi broke down in a heap of tears.

"WAAAAGGGHHH!!! Don't blame me!!! Blame Hinata-chan and that damn Uzumaki boyfriend of hers!!!! I'm gonna be broke by month's end!!! I know it!" screamed Hiashi to the heavens as tears streamed down his face.

"Huh?" gaped the father and daughter team.

Hiashi went on to explain the situation of Hinata being pregnant with Naruto's child to Teuchi. And how even though she was only four months along she had already begun the mood swings and food cravings.

"A new Uzumaki is coming?" questioned Teuchi to his friend.

"Y…Yes…sniff…and as if my daughter being pregnant and having moodswings isn't bad enough, that dam…"

"AYAME!!!!! Naruto and Hinata got together and are having a baby!!!!" interrupted the black haired man. Ayame rushed from the back with a huge grin on her face.

"Really Otou-san!?!"

"HAI! Do you know what this means?" he asked her.

"…"

"It means that our Gravy train has rolled in!!!!!!"

"NANI!?!" shouted the jyuuken master.

"Yep! We of the Ichiraku ramen family have longed served the Uzumaki family ramen. In fact my family actually came from the whirlpool country. But that's not the point my lord. You see whenever a new Uzumaki is to be born our income skyrockets!!! So this is actually going to be quite the prosperous year for us." grinned the old man.

'Yep. I'm gonna be broke.'

"Oh I feel it moving around Onee-chan." chimed Hanabi as she had her cheek up against her sister's growing stomach.

"How Hanabi-chan? It really isn't that big yet." Hinata asked her sister as she sat down on her ever comfortable bed.

"Well something's moving around in your stomach Onee-chan." giggled the second in line for the title of head.

Hinata just blushed at the comment. In fact she could still hardly believe it, her dream was coming true. She was already making a family with man she loved, even though it was a few years earlier than she expected. Also her father had become the kind man who raised her before she was eight, once more. And the Hyuuga family was begging to become one house instead of two.

But her thought were dragged away from her, when she and Hanabi heard a loud crash come from the training hall. It took the sisters a few minutes to get to the hall due to the older's growing child. When they entered the hall their jaws dropped. There in front of them was the current resident of the Hyuuga compound, Uzumaki Kushina dusting herself off. Beneath her foot was the crumpled form of one of the Hyuuga elders. On the far side of the room were the frightened chibi forms of the other elders.

"Umm Kushina-san?...What's going on?" questioned the younger heir. The red headed women looked over at the two sisters and grinned the trademark Uzumaki smile.

"Oh just showing these old farts what I would do to them if they ever talk ill about my future daughter in law again."

"Nani? They were talking bad Onee-chan?"

"Yes we were child! For how could you, you weak bitch? Getting pregnant with that monster's child? You bring disgrace to the name of the Hyuuga!!!" shouted an elder to Hinata while answering Hanabi's question.

Kushina's eyes turned into those of a demon as she glared back at the arrogant elders. All the elderly bones of the Hyuuga clan squealed as the mother of Naruto pulled out two giant kunai out of nowhere.

"What did you call my son and future daughter in law? You see what happened to this guy?" she asked pointing to the half dead Hyuuga. "Well that's nothing…"

"Kushina-san."

Everyone turned to the voice that had interrupted the red head mother. Hinata stood there with a growing ark aura around her. Hanabi scuddled away from her elder sister and hid behind Kushina, who too had begun to grow a little afraid.

"Elders of the clan. I have always respected you and what not…I've dealt with your insults an punishments. But you will never insult my Naruto-kun again! OR ELSE I'LL GENTLE FIST A CERTAIN PART OF YOUR BODIES!!!!" screamed the sixteen year old. Clearly the mood swings had begun. And with such a sentence the male elders quickly covered their crotch area and zipped out of the room.

"Hehehe." giggled Hinata at having scaring the shit out of the most influential people of the clan.

"W..Wow…Onee-chan."

'Damn she's scary than I was when I was pregnant with Naruto-chan….and she's only four months along!!!' thought a very shocked Kushina.

In another part of the village a poor man had to deal with his wife scolding him for not taking his shift to help out the bearer of their grandchild.

"Shikaku!!! You lie! I can smell the Sake on you! Admit it!" screamed the mother of Shiakmaru as she ran after her husband with a ladle.

"Now dear, please! Mercy!" begged the scar faced man to his angry wife.
Temari just sat on the couch in the middle of the Nara living room, simply knitting deer footsie pajamas for her child. She still couldn't believe that she was pregnant with the so called crybaby's child. It made her both happy but nervous of what he would think. As she finally put the last stitch into the sleepwear, her stomach growled extremely load. Yoshino stopped her chase of the male and flew to the feet of the blond to serve her.

"Oh Temari-chan are you hungry? What do you need?" asked the future grandmother in chibi a way.

"Well I don't be a burden Kaa-san(Yoshino encouraged her to call her that , and Shikaku Otou-san)". Said Temari at the women's sudden change in attitude.

"Oh don't worry dear it's no problem at all….Right H-O-N-E-Y?" the brown haired women asked demonically as she turned to spot her husband trying to tiptoe away. Within seconds the ladle struck him in the head.

"Now what would you like?"

"….mackerel, pineapple, ketchup pudding." the nineteen year old said with a sweat drop. Yoshino just gawked at her. Shikaku tried to sneak away again, that is before a demons claw grabbed the back of his chunin vest.

"And where do you think you're going mister?" Yoshino asked her scared shitless husband.

"Ugggh….ummmm…Oh! I was going to go make Temari-chan's snack." Shikaku said with hope his wife would believe the lie. Yoshino's frown quickly turned into an evil grin.

"Oh if that's the case then." The pony tailed women chimed as she lifted him off the floor, "Let me help you…"

"Eh?"

"INTO THE KITCHEN!!!!" she cried out as she flung him into the food room. The man instantly crashed into to the pots and pans.
Temari had to admit that this was one of the funniest parts of living with this family, as well as the best part being is that women ruled it.

"Now Temari-chan do you need anything else?"

"No not right now. But has there been any news of Shikamaru?"
Yoshino's face grimed. "No there's been no word in three weeks. Last time his and Chouji's army was spotted around the land of iron, trying to gain the Samurai to help us in the war."

"Oh." Temari sighed, wishing for some good news.

'Oh Kami. Why can't you just give a smudge of info whether he's alright or not? I mean I should be the one asking questions wheter he's alright or not, but this girl…she truly cares for him.' thought Yoshino.

Just then a knock from the front gate grabbed both women's attention. Temari tried to get up from the couch to answer it but was immediately stopped by her future mother in law. The female Nara sprung to the gate, only after threatening her husband with death should he try to sneak away while she answered the gate.

"Konichiwa, and welcome to the Nara clan compound." she said in a pippy tone.

"Ah Yoshino-san, konichiwa." bowed a simple messenger. "I have some reports on your Son's army. They were just regained contact with us three days ago and have sent us word that they have gained a treaty with Samurai forces of the Land of Iron. They are now…umm…Yoshino-san are you alright?"

The brown haired mother had begun to break down in tears of happiness. To hear news that her only son was alive and well brought her as much joy as it had when she learned she was to be a Grandmother, Pure jubilation.

"H-he's alive…he's alive!" she weeped out in joy. Within seconds both the messenger and the overjoyed mother both heard another source of crying. They turned to see on the porch walkway Temari down on her knees too crying tears of joy. Yoshino quickly walked over to her and embraced her.

"Umm is everything alright out here?" inquired the Nara head sticking his head out of the door, at hearing the crying. His question was answered with a slipper thrown at Mach 7 straight in his face.

"Shut up!!! Can't you see we're having a moment!?!" the sand and leaf women said together at once. To that they just giggled.

Sakura handed a pile of documents to Tsunade to sign. Sakura just sighed, depressed a not being able to tell Sasuke about her pregnancy. In fact Temari and Hinata had also both been told not to write to the boy's about their pregnancies. Tsunade thought it would make the fight for them harder, with the thought of fatherhood bearing on their minds.

"Sakura." Spoke Tsunade from her work.

"Huh?" stammered the pink haired girl.

"I need you to do me a favor." said the current Hokage.

"What is it?"

"Well you see, it's not really for me but more for…"

"TSUNADE-SAMA!!!!" screamed Shizune as she burst through the door. Tsunade and Sakura both looked at the girl with shock.

"Shi-Shizune…? Na…" began the blonde haired sanin.

"IT'S about Danzo's body!!!"

"Nani?" both master and student asked jumping at the traitors name.

"I know you wanted me to look it over today before we burned it, finally. But I discovered something. It wasn't really Danzo who Sai killed." Shizune shouted out of breath.

"Shizune please tell me this is a joke. For the love of Kami please don't tell me that asshole is fucking alive!"

"I'm afraid so. We've begun our search for him, we've already found a hidden training facility under this building. We assume it's where he trained the ROOT members. But  unfortunately it looks like it's been abandoned for several months.."

"The coward must have freaking fled the village, that fucking bastard. SAKURA, SHIZUNE!!!"

"Hai!" stanced both girls.

"GO AND PREPARE MESSAGES FOR THE ARMIES! They need to know about Danzo and if in case he may join the Akatsuki Axsis!"

Sakura and Shizune both grew nervous, it had been so long since they both had seen her this angry.

"Actually Shizune I leave that task to you. Now go!"

"Hai Tsunade-sama." the brown haired girl said with a bow and fled the room.

"Sakura, I have a different assignment for you." Tsunade said still pissed off that her Sensei's worst enemy was still alive.

"Tsunade-sama." Sakura merely said as she awaited her assignment.

"First I still off I want you to take it easy with that growing kid of yours. Second I want you to get that ROOT friend of yours Sai. He may be able to help us find Danzo. He already betrayed him so he will probably give us aid."

"Understood Tsunade-sama." Sakura bowed and left.

Tsunade turned and sighed as she looked out at the rebuilt village. The Sun was setting on the horizon causing an orange glow to illuminate the village. It was so peaceful…yet to peaceful.

"The calm before the storm eh? Something tells me that this war is gonna come straight back at the village. And with Danzo still on the loose…this war just got a whole lot harder to win." The Hokage said to herself as she continued to stare out at the beautiful city.

A green flash raced through the forest. It was quickly pursued by four black flashes. One of the black flashes sprang forward trying to attack the green one, but was quickly kicked into a tree. The other three pursing flashes all pulled out swords and raised them as they too sped up to the green one. They raised their blades high and flung them down.

It soon ended in a matter of seconds.

"Kono Whirlwind!!!" cried out the voice of Rock Lee as he smashed the swords to pieces with his deadly feet. He then proceeded to kick enemy on the neck killing them each instantly.

"Hare hare has this war really become this large that I can't even go out for my twilight run without being attacked by a squad of Akatsuki ninja's?" the blue beast questioned as he began to simply jog along the river right next to him.
Lee had become the second commander in the Konoha main army. Just beneath 2nd in command Commander Uchiha Sasuke. His fighting style and enthusiasm truly helped inspire the men of the main army.

Anyway Lee's jog was soon coming to an end as he was almost back to the main camp where the army was set up for the night.

As he was about a mile from the camp, he stopped to get a drink from the river. As he crouched down to sip from the flowing water he noticed something float past him. It was a green, bloodstained Konoha bandana.

Lee quickly snatched it from the river and looked it over. As he did he began to see blood flowing down the river. He looked up towards where the blood was coming from and spotted a body on the bank of the river.

"Oh no."

Lee raced to the body on the bank. As soon as he made it he pulled the soaked being out of the water. As he turned it over to check for vitals, he saw that the body was a girl, a beautiful teenage girl, with long brunette hair. She wore a standard chunin vest, but wore green ninja pants and t-shit under the vest. He blushed as he saw her face.

'She…She looks so…so beautiful.' thought the taijutsu master.

He soon began checking her pulse, it was there but it was faint. As soon as he lifted his index and middle finger away from her throat, she began coughing up blood. He found the reason; she had been stabbed with a kunai in the side. Not wasting anytime he pulled it out of her and dressed the wound with a med pack he carried.

As he picked her up to take her to a med tent in the camp, her eyes opened to reveal a pair  of grayish-green eyes.

"…wh-who are...are…you?" she quietly managed to choke out. The pain for her he could tell was beyond unbearable.

"Me…I'm Rock Lee!! The handsome devil of Konoha!" he said in joyous voice as to make her feel a little better. And it worked, she giggled a little at his antics. "But I'm afraid young and beautiful maiden, introductions will have to wait. For I must get you to medic ninja." he said to her as he began to run.

Soon he was running as fast as he could to reach the camp before she passed out once more. As he did, he did not notice her looking at him. Even though her vision was a little hazy, and the pain was excruciating, she found some comfort in his face. His hard and determined expression. His black hair, no longer a bowl cut but a regular patch of hair flowing in the wind as he speed through the wood for her. But if there was one time someone found his eyebrows attractive, it was her! And her name was Shoku Aresuku.

The Sharingan of Uchiha Madara stared out at the continuous rain that fell around his base of operations. The rain calmed his ever growing anger at the allies for trying to defy him. He clutched his hand in a fist, at how his previous plans had all failed him before hand. He was truly growing tired of these battles, and the waste of resources he was using to crush his enemies. If only Sasuke hadn't betrayed him and taken the biiju away.

'Uchiha Sasuke…Uzumaki Naruto…those two are the allies greatest warriors. And the greatest threats to my victory. Sasuke is expendable, Naruto however…we need him alive for the Kyuubi.' thought the leader of the Axsis.

The door behind him opened to reveal a beautiful woman with white hair and a konoha head band with a slash through it.

"Madara-sama." she spoke in a tone unlike the members used. It sounded like it was filled with more than just respect.

"Ah, Eri. What brings you here to my sanctuary my pet?" he asked the young woman in a voice free of anger.

She smiled at the name he had always addressed her as. From the time he was Tobi to the time she had discovered who he really was.

"Well my Lord there is someone here who wishes to speak with you…" she said trying to hide distain in her voice.

"My Pet what's wrong? There is malice and hate in your voice. Which you never have, but I must say I like." spoke the Uchiha with a smile under his mask.

"I don't trust this guy. He says he can help you but I think in the end he just wants to kill you."

"My dear a lot of people wish me dead. This one is no different, let him up. We'll use his resources and when the time is right, dispose of him." Madara said with a wave of his hand.

Eri bowed and left the room. Only to return a short while later with a man in a robe, and badages around his right arm and right eye. It was Danzo, the leader of the now rouge Konoha anbu ROOT corps.

"Ah, well, well, well. If it isn't little Danzo." said the Akatsuki founder in a cynical
voice.

"And Uchiha Madara. To say I would be glad to see you…well it would be a lie." frowned the cane user. He then walked over to the couch in the middle of the room and sat down in it. He soon felt a kunai against his throat.

"How dare you place your filthy ass on Madara-sama's furniture." Threatened the white haired Eri.

"Madara call off your whore or I'll have to ki…"

Danzo stopped in mid sentence. He could no longer move and was shocked by this.

"Danzo I suggest you never call my little pet a whore. Or else you shall suffer the consequences." threatened the former partner of the late Deidara.

"Now if you have come to discuss something, I'm more than willing to listen. That is as long as you're under my control. For you see you may have a sharigan that can control minds but mine thou crippled is more powerful than yours. And for that I had to paralyze your entire body, so you wouldn't do anything funny. You can however still speak. Now shall we talk?" Madara asked with a psycho grin beneath his mask.

Danzo too began to smile evilly, a new evil was being formed…
